Currently residing in Nashville where she has built a noteworthy foundation and following, Jesse frequently takes the stage around town at venues like The Basement, Exit/In, 3rd and Lindsley, and 12th and Porter. Her live performances leave listeners provoked and driven to unexplored territory. Jesse’s influences include many of the great Folk icons like Bob Dylan and Gillian Welch. While her style stays true to Americana and Folk roots, she continues to grow and reach for new areas that can be difficult to pinpoint in genre.
In 2008, Jesse released two EPs entitled Paper Words and Normandy Place. Shortly after in April 2009 – a testament to her ambition – Jesse released Tiny Wars, her first full-length record. Most recently on April 20th, 2010, Jesse released her second record, The Living Room Sessions. Recorded completely live, The Living Room Sessions is a brilliantly intimate release, Jesse’s most anticipated record to date. Since the release of the record, Jesse has shared the stage with many established artists and continues to flourish as a poet and songwriter.
